Find Fair Traders of Australia
The following Fair Traders are endorsed by the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand.
The Fair Trade Association is a not-for-profit membership organisation comprising businesses and individuals who support the Fair Trade vision.
Fair Trade empowers disadvantaged artisans, and producers, especially in developing countries, to create sustainable livelihoods through employment, regular income, improved working conditions and more direct access to markets.
As a peak body and regional network member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) supporting the 10 Principles of Fair Trade we are part of the global Fair Trade movement.
We run an endorsement program for members to become Fair Traders of Australia. It provides independent assurance that they follow the 10 Principles of Fair Trade in their business practice, from maker to consumer.
The Association also encourages advocacy, and brings together organisations and communities such as councils, universities, workplaces, faith groups and schools to promote and participate in Fair Trade.
